Uran Bolush

Uran Bolush is a Junior Editor with Global Brief.

Bolush is senior development and donor relations officer at the University of Central Asia (UCA) in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. Prior to UCA, he worked in USAID’s Public Administration Strengthening Program in Bishkek, where he coordinated the implementation of institutional reforms for select Kyrgyz national ministries. He also advised a member of parliament of the Kyrgyz Republic, and taught graduate courses to mid-level and senior public servants at the Presidential Academy of Public Administration in Bishkek. He began his career in the Kyrgyz foreign service, serving with the Kyrgyz mission to the UN in Geneva.

Bolush earned a Master of Public Policy degree from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore, on a full scholarship. His bachelor’s degree in international relations is from Richmond University in London, where he studied on President’s scholarship.
