We have the Copenhagen Conference and the protests in Iran taking place this week. Which is by far the more important event for the future of the world? Without a doubt, the protests in Iran. Yet, I do not see any of the world leaders, who will flock to Copenhagen next week, standing up in support of the protesters, let alone doing anything to drive the fundamentalist tyrants into the ash bins of history. Truly a shame!

I guess the “leaders” believe photo ops in Copenhagen and buying the votes of  the smaller and poorer countries trump fighting for freedom.
