This time the award goes off-shore to Fidel Castro. He blames the U.S. for the spread of swine flu in Cuba. Specifically, he blames Presidet Obama for relaxing restrictions on Cuban-Americans to visit Cuba.

I wonder if Castro is considering banning all tourist travel, both inbound and outbound? It would be an interesting experiment if he did to see how long Cuba could survive without tourism. Or if he is really paranoid, he can take a page out of the Howard Hughes playbook and ban all travel and trade.

Of course, the problem cannot lie with the five-star health care system in Cuba. Swine flu must be a capitalist imperialist plot to undermine his regime.
