louis_fishauf_smlLouis Fishauf is one of Canada’s leading editorial designers, having worked with Chatelaine, The City, City Woman, Executive, T.O. magazine, Saturday Night and Toronto Life. His work has won numerous awards, including five Gold National Magazine Awards and two Canadian Newsstand Awards for art direction and cover design. In addition to his editorial work, Fishauf co-founded REACTOR ART+DESIGN in Toronto, where he served as Creative Director for twelve years. He has received the ADC’s Les Usherwood Award for “a lifetime of excellence in the field of communication arts”. In 1997, he was invited by Apple Computer to become one of the first forty AppleMasters, an “international group of recognized visionaries from various fields”. He has served on the Boards of Directors of the Art Directors Club of Toronto, the Worldwide Publishing Consortium and the Advisory Board of MediaLinx h@bitat at the Canadian Film Centre. He teaches part-time at the Ontario College of Art & Design.
